The Community Climate Collaborative’s Green Teen Alliance (GTA) will host a meeting for high-school students on February 26th from 4-6pm at C3’s office (415 8th St NE, Charlottesville, VA 22902). Run by C3’s teen interns, the GTA focuses on the climate education of Charlottesville’s youth and on solutions to climate change. At this meeting, C3’s policy team will explain the format and process of writing letters to local decision-makers. Then members will write their own letters to local officials. The goal is to send these letters to advocate for change in local policy and catalyze improvements in our community. New members are welcome!
