Fashion Footprints

Wednesday, March 27th | 5-7 PM

The Haven, 112 W. Market Street

It takes a lot of resources to manufacture new clothes. Over 600 gallons of water are used to create a new cotton t-shirt! So, C3 is hosting a clothing exchange to give lucky dresses and go-to jeans new life when you swap your pre-loved outfits for some nearly-new threads.

The event is FREE when you donate clothes to swap or pay $5 to just come shop.

What To Donate
Clothing exchanges are all about recycling the old and acquiring something nearly new. To make sure everyone has a good time shopping the event, please be sure to only donate clothes that are gently used. Pre-loved clothes can be donated in all sizes and styles, being sure the garments are:

  1. In Good Shape
Avoid donating clothing that has stains, holes, or broken pieces. Minimal wear and tear is acceptable. Ask yourself, would you wear this?

  2. Clean
Please be sure your pre-loved clothing has been washed before they are donated. Clothes with overt, unpleasant smells will not be accepted. Smells to Avoid: Cigarette smoke, pungent pet smells, moth balls, body odor, etc.

  3. Respectful
Clothing with vulgar language, offensive images, or culturally insensitive features will not be accepted. Fashion Footprints is a fun, inclusive, and diverse event.

A special thank you to ReThreads Consignment Shop for providing Fashion Footprints with pre-loved clothes that have been donated to their store via consignment.
