Business Innovation Award Application

In the past year, did your company find a creative solution for your energy or climate obstacle? C3 is looking for an organization that stands out for their ingenuity, whether through one significant action or in many small ways. Award recipient will be determined based on the impact and ingenuity of their solution. Be descriptive and focus on how it was unique and meaningful!

  • Thousands of student landfill-bound box lunches shifted to compostable and recyclable materials -WorldStrides

  • Solar panel installed on tractor-trailer to power lift gates, limiting trips back to main warehouse - Virginia Eagle Distributing

  • Coffee Fridays at Darden converted to 100% zero waste - UVA Darden School of Business

  • Edison-era building converted to hydroponics garden (proposal-stage) - Miller School of Albemarle

  • Styrofoam refrigeration packaging converted to recyclable product - InBio
