Students: We Are Hiring!
Once again this academic school year the Charlottesville Climate Collaborative will be hiring high-performing college students who are interested in joining our team of passionate change makers!
Who We Are
The Charlottesville Climate Collaborative (C3) aims to build a culture of climate action in Charlottesville and advocate for climate-conscious policies on behalf of the commercial and residential sectors. We use a community-based, collaborative, and cross-sector approach to reduce climate pollution and be a model throughout the Commonwealth.
The available job positions include internship for our Residential Program, Commercial Program, Communications/Marketing, and Climate Policy. Interns will work on everything from quantitative and qualitative analysis to social media and marketing depending on their positions and will report to the applicable program manager or director.
Specific qualifications vary according to the position, but all interns must be motivated, professional, and interested in the mission and goals of the Charlottesville Climate Collaborative.
All interns are required to work 10 hours per week through the end of the Fall semester with the possibility of continuing through the Spring. Regular office hours and weekly meetings with supervisors are expected; however, occasional remote work opportunities are available. Our office is conveniently located just two blocks North of the Downtown Mall. The hourly wage is $15.00 an hour.
