Help us reach 100 households & save 100 tons!
Climate change is complex and seems insurmountable. Do the changes we are making actually make a difference? The answer is, “Yes, they do!” — especially when we take action together.
C3 has created an approach that makes climate action personal, measurable, and tangible — where we see the potential cost savings, climate emissions reductions, and positive impact we can make together, as a community.
The Home Energy Challenge is a fun, informative, and social way to reduce our collective carbon footprint.
People host or attend a house party, fill out their energy profile, and then begin taking actions as individuals or in teams of friends, neighbors or community groups with the help of an online platform.
Too busy to host this fall? Attend our community Lunchtime Pep Rally on Tuesday, October 30th from noon-1pm at CitySpace. RSVP here. Attendees are encouraged to bring a friend or two and their laptop/ipad (smart phone work too). FREE lunch will be served!
Fall sign ups are beginning in September. Households have until February 2019 to reduce their overall carbon footprint. Then we will host a community gathering to celebrate our progress! We can see the difference we can make together. A new season will begin in February.
Help us reach our initial 2018 goal: 100 households sign up, take action, and save 100 tons.
Are you ready to join?
We want to use the power of our social networks to create positive change, so C3 is teaming up with households, neighborhoods, and community groups to conduct "Power Parties."
These house parties are a great way to connect with friends and support each other in reaching a common goal.
As of 2011, households accounted for 19% of our community’s climate pollution and that percentage is growing. Helping homeowners and tenants throughout our community lower their carbon footprint is a key part of C3’s mission.
